Using vectors and colorful, soft palettes, I like to create illustrations of beautiful, complicated, independent, women. Most illustrations feature women without eyes or noses, just full lips, leaving the rest of the face–and identity–up to the viewer. The highest compliment is when black women look at a piece, point to a character, and ask, "is this me?"
